Over at Grantland​.com, Tom Bissell recently put up an inter­est­ing review of L.A. Noire that is worth check­ing out; you can do so here. He also brings up some inter­est­ing ideas that I want to talk about regard­ing the expe­ri­ence of games, specif­i­cally the notion of “buy­ing in” to a game’s struc­ture, nar­ra­tive, and cen­tral con­ceits.
